If you can give me the information on your Thule rack, we may have some replacement parts available. I've linked the page to your options of replacement hardware we carry. It is very likely the noise is due to an improper fit or mounting hardware issues. The # 7533998 is the fit for many of the older racks.
Another help would be to use a fairing like the Thule AirScreen XT Fairing for Roof Racks - 44" Long # TH82WV or 52 inch # TH8703. This will deflect the air up over the rack and... view full answer...
The Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Universal Spare Tire Carrier # 6715 can absolutely be used on the rear trailer hitch receiver of your vehicle. You can see this on the back of a camper in our customer photos on the product page. The manufacturer named it but it absolutely can be used for a rear hitch receiver. You may in certain states need to relocate your license plate so that is likely why they listed it as a front mount. The other issue is the cargo access, so you may also consider... view full answer...
You really can't go wrong with either bike rack you mentioned as they are both considered the nicest platform bike racks you can get. Both of them also fit you tire width and diameter as well. What's interesting is they both also weight the exact same at 52 lbs. They both can be expanded to 4 bike racks if ever needed, are very stable, and only touch the bikes at the tires. The Kuat is more of a "status symbol" too as most recognize it as the best rack and also very expensive so if that's... view full answer...
I have a way for you to use a Rhino-Rack awning with the Yakima OffGrid # Y07138 but the Sunseeker that you're wanting to use only installs via T-Slots. Since your OEM roof rack doesn't have T-Slots you'll want to look at the Rhino-Rack Batwing that mounts on the Driver's # RR33300 or Passenger's # RR33400 side of your Land Cruiser. You'll also need the Mounting Kit # RR31105 to get this to fit the round bars on your OffGrid basket. view full answer...
For your 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser you would want the trailer wiring harness part # C56175. This has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle and can convert your separate turn and brake wiring on your vehicle and convert it to combined circuits so that you can use the included 4-way. view full answer...
Although it's not a plug and play option, there is a hardwired option available, part # 119177KIT. This is a universal application, the inputs would wire into the right turn, left turn, brake, running light and reverse light circuit. The converter would ground to the vehicle frame and would be powered by its fused connection to the vehicle battery. The wiring harness includes a basic circuit tester, so you can probe the taillight wiring harnesses feeding the taillight assemblies to determine... view full answer...
For your I recommend the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C13089. This has the 2" receiver that you are looking for. The hitch is rated for carrying up to 500 lbs of tongue weight, so more than enough for your 150 lb mobility scooter and whatever carrier you are using. view full answer...
I checked with Air Lift and for air bags # AL60728 they say the air valve should be at the bottoms of the air bags when installed on your 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser. view full answer...
The circuit breakers do not need to be covered, as they should be mounted in an unobtrusive area under the hood of your 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser, typically on the back wall below the windshield, or inside the driver side fender, near the vehicle battery. No snap on cover is available.
If you choose, you could probably put some cap nuts on the exposed posts on the circuit breakers, but if there does seem to be some risk that the posts on the breakers would come into contact with anything,... view full answer...
I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, the only color soft two-piece doors we carry for the 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is the black denim Bestop 2-Piece Soft Doors for Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 1964-1984 # B5177415. view full answer...
If you aren't experiencing any braking action on either trailer then that means the signal from the Prodigy P2 # 90885 is lost somewhere either on your 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser or your 2019 Mini Winnie.
Since the Winnebago is brand new I suspect that the problem is on the tow vehicle side. Start off by testing the pin in the 5 o'clock position of your 7-Way connector with a circuit tester like part # PTW2992. If you don't have a 7-Way or you don't see that a signal is sending then that... view full answer...
I checked with all the main trailer wiring harness manufacturers in the industry (Curt, Tekonsha, and Hopkins), none offer a plug-in trailer wiring harness for a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser. Therefore, the only option to install a 4-way trailer connector would be with the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 119250KIT which is a universal harness that does not require splicing into your vehicle's wiring. view full answer...
We do have the parts that you're looking for. If your 1994 Land Cruiser has a naked roof you will need a total of 6 gutter mounting towers # RL110S2 (sold in pairs), the Roof Rack Leg Spacer Blocks # LHSPAIR and the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform # RR75TB.
If your Land Cruiser has the factory side rails on it, you'll need to first install a Rhino Rack Roof Rack Kit using parts # RRVA137B-2 and # RRSX100, which is the foot pack/fit kit and crossbars, and then add the Pioneer Platform # RR75TB... view full answer...
I would recommend either the K-Source Universal Clip-On mirror, part # KS3891 or the Cipa Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, part # 11650. The mirrors are sold individually, and can be used on either the driver or passenger side of the vehicle. The clip on mirror is more sleek in appearance, but the Cipa door mount is typically more vibration free.
I am sorry, at this time we do not have custom towing mirrors like the Cipa # 10501 you referenced available for your 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser.

Typically, the power wire on a factory 7 way is on a 40amp circuit with a fuse or breaker somewhere near the fuse block. Sometimes it can be a 30amp circuit. If you are going to be running more than 30amps, I would call the service department at the dealer you got it from and find out for sure. You could also give the fuse block a quick check to see if it is clearly identified. view full answer...
Yes. I checked with Surco and the Safari rack # SPS5060-1101 is the correct rack for your 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser with factory side rails that run front to back.
There are also several accessories available for the Safari rack such as lights, # SPLT100, a spare tire carrier, # SPST100, and others. They can be found on the right hand side of the page of the Safari rack product page. view full answer...
The connector you sent in a picture of is not the brake controller port. You would want to look for the female style plug that would match the connector in the picture I submitted.
We have had customers state that the location of the brake controller port on the Toyota Land Cruiser is under the dash behind the switches for the mirror. You will need to take apart the lower dash panel and then push out the switch panel. There is no need to detach any switch, it all hangs out just fine according... view full answer...
Your 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser will have a brake controller connection port for the P3 # 90195 under the dash ONLY if it came from the factory with a 7-way trailer connector already installed at the rear bumper. In that case you would use part # 3040-P.
The location of this port in the 2005 Land Cruiser is under the dash, on the far left side above the emergency brake pedal. It may be tucked out of the way or could be taped to other wiring. You will want to look for a square connector that... view full answer...
We don't have a front receiver that will fit your 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser but I do have some possible solutions for you.
First, you could use a dual purpose ball mount # D210. This ball mount has a 2 inch receiver on the top so you could use it with your bike rack. The ball mount has a 750 pound tongue weight capacity but that is the trailers tongue weight and the weight of the bike rack and bikes combined. The receiver has a capacity of 350 pounds. So if your bikes and bike rack weigh... view full answer...
